People Shaping Places

The California Main Street Alliance (CAMSA) works with communities across the state to foster local economic development and enhance overall quality of life. We do this by providing training, networking opportunities, and access to resources to municipalities and community organizations focused on revitalizing their older or historic commercial districts.

With over 98 languages spoken in Fremont homes and more than half of the population born outside the country, Fremont continues to go above and beyond to help these communities thrive.
